About
History and Heritage
The Center for Forensic Science Research and Education, based in Willow Grove, PA was founded in 2010 to address needs of the forensic science and law enforcement communities. Founded through the support of our parent organization, the Fredric Rieders Family Foundation, The Center is dedicated to research, education, and outreach in the forensic sciences. The Center’s programs include short-term placements for visiting scholars and researchers; partnership to deliver degree programs at area universities; and continuing professional development for forensic scientists, law enforcement, and legal professionals. The Center offers state-of-the-art facilities and instrumentation to support grant-funded research and academic scholarship.
