The Center for Forensic Science Research & Education has partnered with Temple University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Arcadia University to offer graduate level forensic science education and training. Each school’s curriculum has a specific focus keyed to the nature of the program as a master’s degree in general forensic science, or a professional master’s degree in forensic toxicology or forensic chemistry. The mission of the Forensic Science program at Arcadia University is to provide high quality,   competent, and professional master’s level   forensic science education and training in the areas of forensic biology, chemistry, toxicology and trace evidence analysis. This is accomplished through contact with internal and external professional practitioners and academicians; through research, internships, and other forensic science activities intended to increase the students’ knowledge of forensic science.

 

 

Jefferson-College-of-BioMedThe MS Program in Forensic Toxicology at Thomas Jefferson University is designed to position students for advancement and professional development in the specific field of forensic toxicology. The Program also gives students essential, hands-on training by immersing students in mock casework samples and providing them with experience in drug and toxin detection and extraction, quantification, instrumental analysis and data interpretation and report writing. The Program culminates in a hands-on internship and moot court experiences.

 

 

The PSM in Forensic Chemistry at Temple University offers students a portfolio of knowledge and experiences that will enable them to tackle issues in forensic chemistry. The program provides students with a theoretical understanding of major concepts in forensic chemistry, a range of practical skills in forensic chemistry, and knowledge and skills applicable to academia, industry and government.
